Welcome to year 5! My name is Mr Large and I am the class teacher for Hawk class. I love learning new things and my favourite subjects are PE and Maths. This year, I will be joined by the wonderful Mrs Phillips, Miss Whelan, Mrs Cooper and Mrs Creek who will be supporting with your learning.

In our classroom, we aim to create a calm and motivated environment to provide our pupils with the opportunity to develop a love of learning and thrive. We have lots of opportunities to work as a team and will be faced with multiple problems throughout the year. Problem solving skills and risk taking is celebrated in our class and is appreciated as an essential part of improving learning and understanding. We like to embed clear routines which allow our classroom to run smoothly.
