Welcome to Year 2! My name is Mr McLaughlin and I am the teacher in Owl Class. I am really looking forward to being your class teacher this year. I love teaching and I am sure we will have a great year in Owl Class!

I have taught in a number of schools and language colleges across the country and abroad, and my real expertise is in teaching speaking and writing.

We are also very lucky to have Mrs Britt as our class teaching assistant, who is an expert phonics teacher. In addition, she knows the class so well from her time with them in Year 1 and is the perfect person to transition the children into Year 2.
